Scientific support

To guarantee the identity of the Dual Model, scientific support focuses on the development of new programs, internal management audits, and continuous improvement based on evidence, facts, and data.

The member universities of the Dual University Latin America Network (DHLA) are registered with the relevant state agency as higher education institutions and are leaders in the region for their principles and values related to social responsibility and sustainability.

Cooperative work is a philosophy that guides decision-making. In this sense, all HEIs are formally linked to the Latin American Dual University Network (DHLA).

The Dual University Network Latin America (DHLA) is self-financed and chaired by AHK Colombia. The HEIs implementing the German Dual Model of the DHLA form multidisciplinary teams for process management.

The quality management system is based on a process-based approach and the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act). In this regard, member institutions of the Dual University Latin America Network (DHLA) must structure their Quality Manual based on the International Standard ISO 9001:2015 and must characterize Strategic Processes, Classroom and Practical Training Processes, and Support Processes.
